HOW DOES IT WORK?
Lido di Pomposa, Lido degli Scacchi, and Lido delle Nazioni, starting July 14, 2025 Dear user, preserving the value and beauty of our territory is a commitment we share. Proper waste management and urban decorum are only possible with everyone's collaboration. WHAT'S CHANGING: In the coming months, the waste collection system will be standardized throughout the Comacchio area, with a combination of door-to-door and street bins. The collection of UNSORTED WASTE, ORGANIC WASTE, and GLASS will be carried out using street bins: the entire fleet will be completely renovated, contributing to improving urban decorum. The new bins will be ready for opening via the Junker app or the ComacchioVALE card, thus allowing data to be collected on the volume of waste disposed of. The fee calculation system will remain unchanged.
How to open the new bins: Hold your smartphone near the reader using the Junker app, or your ComacchioVALE card: the bin will open automatically. Insert a bag of a suitable size (maximum 30 liters). Close the bin by pressing the pedal. OBJECTIVES: Reduce unsorted waste, improve collection quality, and standardize collection systems. EVERYONE'S COLLABORATION IS ESSENTIAL: The success of the project depends on everyone's commitment. FAMILIES, CONDOMINIUMS, AND SMALL NON-DOMESTIC HOUSEHOLDS WHAT'S NEW: FROM JULY 1ST, NEW SMART BINS FOR UNSORTED WASTE AND ORGANIC WASTE: WHEN AND HOW WILL THEY WORK? The new street bins will be installed by June. Starting July 1st, 2025, they can be opened with the Comacchio Vale Card and also with the Junker App: JUNKER APP: Download Junker, locate the Municipality of Comacchio, and go to the app's Services menu.
